Super Bowl weekend

My weekend was so much fun! On Saturday, I spent a couple hours at Babies R Us with my mom. I thought it would be a good time to start our registry... Yeah, I ended up so overwhelmed that I only put like six things on there. I never realized the amount of choices they have for everything baby-related! I stood in the middle of the stroller section looking like a deer in the headlights, not knowing what features to look for, what brand is the best quality, whether or not the car seat was comfortable enough; I just chose a Graco with a cute pattern and got the hell out of there! I'm also thinking that maybe it wasn't such a good idea to take my mom along. While she was able to offer some good observations and insight, it got just plain weird when it came to what kind of breast pump to use! OMG.mortifying. I think I need to do a bit more research before I head back through those doors again.

Then we headed off to Target to order the furniture and it was out of stock! Talk about a bummer! I'm trying to find it online and am having the toughest time, I even read somewhere that it was discontinued in the color we want (but I'm hoping that was just a nasty rumor). I'm going to be so upset if we can't get this stuff, we've looked at a million different options, and lovfed this one the best, I'd hate to have to start all over.

On Sunday my family came over to the house to watch the Super Bowl! We were having a grand ol' time till the Cardinals lost. It was a really good game, even though there were some parts of it that made me really mad; but we won't go there. One thing I will say though, is that Harrison should be fined or something for doing what he did to Francisco, totally uncalled for, really unsportsman-like, and sickening to watch.

And here's the video link in case you want to check it out for yourself.

Get Baby Bargains. It rates products for durability, price, and safety. Registering can be overwhelming, so start the registry at home on the internet and add a few items you KNOW you want. View other friend's registries for ideas. Good luck! =D
