26 weeks!

Weekly Survey

• How far along?: 26 weeks
• Total weight gain: I forgot to weigh myself this morning, maybe I'll remember next week. But don't hold your breath.
• How much does baby weigh?: About 2 pounds
• Maternity clothes?: Every day, though I can still pull off the rubber band trick with a couple of my work pants.
• Stretch marks?: Nope, and praying that they never show. The linea is ugly enough TYVM
• Sleep?: Still pretty good : )
• Best moment this week?: Umm... I can't really think of one right now
• Movement?: There are times where he'll be still for a long while and then go completely insane. It's so funny to watch my belly jumping around like mad.
• Food cravings?: Mozzarella cheese sticks
• Labor signs?: Nope, and I'd like to keep it that way for a while.
• Belly button in or out?: Still flat
• What I miss: SEX... and wine. But mostly sex.
• What I'm looking forward to: Trip to CA, we leave tomorrow night! Woo hoo!
• Milestone: This is my last week of 2nd Trimester. The home stretch is in sight!

As promised

Here are the 25 week (+1 day) pictures that I promised yesterday. I was running late again, but knew I couldn't get away with not posting them a second day ; )

And here's the dresser/changer combo that we got. I took off the knobs and replaced them with ones that match the wallpaper border. Have I mentioned how in lovf I am with this stuff? The cars are just too damn cute!

• Maternity clothes?: Yep
• Stretch marks?: Nope
• Sleep?: Still pretty good : )
• Best moment this week?: Our appt on Tuesday went great!
• Movement?: Still kicking like mad
• Food cravings?: Velveeta Shells and Cheese; so not healthy, but so good!
• Labor signs?: Nope, but that didn't change my doc's mind about pelvic rest : (
• Belly button in or out?: Still flat
• What I miss: SEX
• What I'm looking forward to: Trip to CA, we’re spending the weekend out there at the end of the month. I can’t wait to see all our friends!
• Milestone: Nursery is more than halfway done!

This week has been really tough. DH, baby and I are all fine, everyone is in good health, but I’m suffering through a personal crisis. There are things going on in my life that are causing me to turn to God in a way that I never had to before. Please pray that I can come through this a better person and with a stronger faith.

Our appt on Tuesday went well. Wiggler is doing great, strong heartbeat, strong kicks and overall, looking perfect. I’m going to have to do the glucose test for the next appt, so they gave me the orange flavored concoction. I’m hoping it’s not too bad.

I managed to wrench my lower back last night while picking up my little dog. It was so stupid, I know how to properly bend and lift, but didn’t this time and now I’m paying for it. Lift with your legs ladies!

We found another awesome deal on Craigslist for the dresser/changer combo; saved ourselves a good $150+, so that’s good. I took pictures of it, but haven’t had a chance to upload them yet, nor did I have time to take my weekly belly pic (I was running so late this morning), so I’ll update later with that also.

Just a few things:

We have finally chosen a name! It was by far NOT an easy decision, but I am so happy that we have that settled. I went out and bought the letters for his name from Micheal's so that I could get started decorating them.

Second, we have finished putting up the border in the nursery. We ended up with only about a foot left of the wallpaper, so it worked out perfectly!

Thirdly, my fabulous MIL is helping me out with some nursery decor, since I can't find anything that I like in the stores. She made us this bumper! I'm totally in lovf with it!

And finally, my ILs also bought us our travel system! I couldn't wait to get it out of the box and put together. Here's my AW doggie test driving it : )
